For Clark’s graduate students, winter break is often a rare time to unwind and take a breath between busy semesters. But during this year’s COVID-extended winter break, many are taking advantage of online Winter Intersession — or “Wintersession,” as it’s commonly called — course offerings to fulfill prerequisites, get a head start on degree program requirements, or to keep engaged and stay connected.

We know that the change in Clark University’s academic calendar for the 2020-’21 school year is leaving a wide gap between the Fall and Spring semesters. With the help of graduate student Sonia Vo, MSF ‘21, we’ve compiled these tips about on and off campus activities for students who will be staying local during winter break.

The glimmer of hope that spring is just around the corner is a sure cure for the winter blues. Thankfully, Punx predicted an early spring this year. Regardless of the outcome, we would like to share Clark University's favorite Worcester winter spots that will either make you embrace Father Winter or help you escape the chill.
